Mr.Shipman was my son Deron's second grade teacher. My son is in ninth grade now and to this day I think that second grade was his best year. My son was so excited to go to school every day because of Mr. Shipman. My son was so shy and he help him open up a so much and also help my son to be more confident in his work and himself. I appreciated it so much because it was a great example and role model of what a Black man is. Mr. Shipman left a great mark on my son and myself and we will never forget him and how he blessed our lives. Thank you so much.
